I have a strong inner critic.

The judge in my mind is quick, especially when it comes to me.

I’m a perfectionist. A pleaser. A bit of a controller too. For a long time, I thought those traits were just part of being responsible.

But they also kept me tense, hyper-aware, and endlessly self-critical.

Meeting the Inner Critic

It wasn’t until I discovered mental fitness that things really shifted, not just for me, but for my family too.

Mental fitness gave us something we didn’t know we needed: simple, daily tools to interrupt the noise.

The Truth About That Voice

The voice in your head that says you’re not doing enough, not good enough, not “there” yet? That isn’t your truth.

That voice is a Saboteur.

Saboteurs are old mental habits that once protected you, but now hold you back. The good news is, you can learn to turn their volume down.

A Gentle Reminder

You don’t have to believe everything your mind tells you.

Awareness is the first step, and every time you notice the critic’s voice, you reclaim a little more of your power.

Reflection Question: What does your inner critic say most often, and how might you respond to it with compassion instead?
